Inspired by the great genious Leonardo Da vinci, every year Savinelli produces a special series dedicated to the very famous Italian artist well-known all over the world. For 2014 Savinelli has taken inspiration from a project included in the "Codex Atlanticus", the Giant Crossbow. A powerful shooting weapon which was never constructed by Leonardo. This pipe with a triangular shank and bowl has been realised just to recall this weapon. Here Leonardo Balestra has a dark finishing. A silver bas-relief repeating Leonardo's big project is present on the pipe shank.
