Description
Venus's birth (1482-1485) is at the Uffizi Gallery in Florence, painted by Alessandro Filipepi, better known as Sandro Botticelli. Venus represents love as motive force, symbol of purity, simplicity and beauty of the soul. The pipe colour recalls Venus blond and soft mane. Rustic, brown finishing, smooth rim. Model 628 has a masculine line. The cylindrical bowl is slightly conical, typical of Brandy style. The black tapered stem bend is less pronounced compared to the standard bends.
