Description
Venus's birth (1482-1485) is at the Uffizi Gallery in Florence, painted by Alessandro Filipepi, better known as Sandro Botticelli. Venus represents love as motive force, symbol of purity, simplicity and beauty of the soul. The pipe colour recalls Venus blond and soft mane. Rustic, brown finishing, smooth rim. Model 673 KS is a classic example of Rhodesian style. The particular bowl is generally called diamond shaped.
