In 2021 Venezia reaches 1600 years since its foundation, which dates back to 25 March of the year 421. Savinelli, in collaboration with the Achademia de la Pipa in Venice, is happily present at the event with the production of 421 celebratory pipes, of which only 5 Giubileo Oro, numbered and original for enthusiasts and collectors.
The pipe for the important anniversary of the Serenissima is adorned with a blue methacrylate ring to recall the waves of the lagoon, but above all, applied to the briar, by a stylized gold-coloured gondola iron, the symbol of Venezia known throughout the world. Also in the same lagoon color is the dedicated pipe cleaner included in the package, in authentic Murano glass, produced for the occasion right on the glass island by the Ragazzi Sas company.
The advent of this celebratory pipe obtained the patronage of the Municipality of Venezia, of the Gondoliers' Association and of the Italian Federation of pipe clubs.
